Anthony Griego
Anthony Griego graduated from the University of New Mexico in 2007 where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Criminology. Mr. Griego was admitted to the New Mexico State Bar in 2011.
Prior to opening The Law Office of Anthony Griego, LLC, Mr. Griego through hard work and determination became a Partner at a prominent Family Law Firm, located in Albuquerque, NM.
Prior to practicing at Family Law Firm, Mr. Griego practiced as an Assistant District Attorney in Bernalillo, Cibola and Sandoval Counties. Mr. Griego worked for the violent crimes division in Sandoval County where he gained extensive first chair trial experience prosecuting complex felony cases including various homicide cases.
During his time practicing Family Law Firm, he has handled complex divorce, custody and child support cases. Mr. Griego also has been appointed by the Court as a Guardian ad Litem to represent children in complex cases.
Angela C. Griego
Angela C. Griego is a family law attorney who helps individuals and families through life’s most difficult transitions with compassion, honesty, and practical guidance. A lifelong New Mexican, Ms. Griego combines a strong academic background with years of hands-on experience to provide steady and thoughtful representation in matters that impact her clients’ lives and families.
Ms. Griego earned her Juris Doctor from the University of New Mexico School of Law and was admitted to the New Mexico State Bar in 2025. She also graduated from the University of New Mexico in 2022 with a double major in Psychology and Sociology and a concentration in Pre-Law. Her studies in behavioral and social sciences give her a deep understanding of the emotional and interpersonal dynamics that often arise in family law cases, helping her connect with clients and approach their cases with empathy and insight.
Before becoming an attorney, Ms. Griego worked for more than five years as a family law clerk, assisting with complex cases involving divorce, custody, timesharing, child support, and property division. This experience gave her a strong foundation in case management, client communication, and courtroom preparation early in her career. She also interned with the Second and Thirteenth Judicial District Attorney’s Offices, where she gained valuable trial and courtroom experience.
During law school, Ms. Griego served as Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Tribal Law Journal and earned certification in Collaborative Family Law, reflecting her dedication to resolution focused, client centered advocacy. Whether through negotiation or litigation, she is committed to helping her clients make informed decisions and reach fair, lasting outcomes.
